Silverbyte Systems nominated for 2006 IT Awards
for the second time
Tel Aviv, 5 December, 2006. The Israel IT industry awards ceremony took place with the participation of the Israeli Minister of Communications and senior managers from high tech and public sector organizations.
“People & computers” IT Awards 2006 was held for the fourth time this year with the top of the ICT industry managers participating. Silverbyte Systems was nominated for the award for the second time.
Among the award winning projects were military and police projects, new banking and health funds CRM projects, Information projects of the Cellular companies and other national leading projects with thousands of users and millions of customers
Silverbyte Systems was again the only private company that managed to reach the final stage of the competition with its project of implementing innovative, advanced technology to the cruise ships industry. The nominated project was the computerizing of Dream Princes cruise ship. The project involved new and advanced software solutions that improved passengers' service and security, based on new devices adopted especially for this project. The project involved installation of dozens of workstations around the ship on literarily unstable environment. The Dream Princess project has been a success thanks to creative thinking, unconventional approach, and close cooperation with customers from the outset.
